Is it bad for people to feel like they can’t say offensive things?
>
Fair question. The First Amendment protects offensive things doesn’t it? My worry in the form of a rhetorical question . . . if they have to constantly suppress their potentially offensive thoughts, do those thoughts harden and eventually lead to even more offensive behavior?
